Pin-up Contest Rules

Ms. Mobtown Greaseball Pin-up Pageant Rules

Ladies should be dressed in era-appropriate pin-up attire. You don’t have to wear “vintage” per-se, but you do have to dress the part of a 40’s or 50’s era pin-up girl. Don’t expect to enter if you aren’t dressed to enter. Our judges are looking for this!

Outfits should completely cover the wearer. Swimsuits are fine as long as they are of a conservative cut that would have been worn back then. No girls wearing lingerie as outerwear will be permitted on stage!

-No “flashing” the crowd. Behave like a lady, not a tramp!

-If you’re drunk, you won’t be participating.

-No groping, grinding or making out with anyone on the stage.

If you break the rules you’ll be IMMEDIATELY ESCORTED OFF STAGE AND DISQUALIFIED.

So, what can you do?

Knock it out of the park with hair, make-up and wardrobe choice.

Rock some classic pin-up poses when it’s time to do your thing!

Bring some cute vintage props or accessories

Be adorable, sweet, coy and classy!

Our past winners won because they worked the crowd, had a great vintage look with attention to details and BEHAVED LIKE LADIES. We want our pageant to be the classiest around and the winner to be a great representation of our event. Take your time on the details and you’ll have a great chance of joining the many lovely girls that came before you in carrying the title of Ms. Greaseball!

ATTENTION ALL ASPIRING PINUP CONTESTANTS!

We’re happy to announce the 8th-Annual Mobtown Greaseball Pin-up Contest!

We’re looking for retro-styled glamour girls to compete for a deluxe prize package, and for the huge honor of being crowned Ms. Mobtown Greaseball!

The winner will receive the following prizes:

• Pin-up makeover and photoshoot courtesy of Dames, Planes and Automobiles. 
• The Ms. Greaseball crown and sash
• One-of-a-kind hand-painted pin-up portrait by the talented artist, Ric Frane
• Fresh flower bouquet by Erin McDonald

Interested girls should stop by the Dames, Planes, and Automobiles booth on the day of the show to fill out paperwork and register for the contest. You must be AT THE EVENT and signed up NO LATER THAN 2:30 p.m. NO LATE SIGN-UPS WILL BE PERMITTED.

We will be doing something different this year to minimize the number of girls on stage for the final show. Each contestant will be photographed at the Dames, Planes and Automobiles Booth, and the judges will narrow the total contestants down to a final 12 from these photos that will be called up to compete. Once those 12 are on stage, the judges will choose the ultimate winner, live-- before the crowning and sashing ceremony.

Girls will be judged on overall presentation, era-appropriateness of hair & make-up, wardrobe selection, and stage presence/poise.

Contestants must be at least 18 years old to participate, and must agree to the rules of conduct on the entry form.

The contest starts at 4 p.m. at the main stage on Saturday, September 21st. If you are a finalist, you'll be called to stage at that time.
